OUR FOOD PHILOSOPHY...
The best meals are often the simplest - fresh ingredients, thoughtful cooking and time spent with family and friends.
That philosophy lies at the heart of everything we do at The Strand Cafe.
Our menus celebrate the best of Devon's coast and countryside, from fresh local seafood and seasonal produce to homemade cakes, pastries and traditional cream teas. Alongside these favourites, you'll occasionally find dishes inspired by culinary traditions from further afield, reflecting a love of travel, discovery and the sharing of good food.
Everything is prepared with care, using quality ingredients and a commitment to simple, honest cooking. Whether you're joining us for breakfast, lunch, coffee and cake, or one of our seasonal specials, our aim is to create food that is fresh, generous and full of flavour.
From Devon seafood and local produce to dishes inspired by our travels, The Strand Cafe offers a relaxed beachside setting where good food, good company and a warm welcome come together.
